30 Days To Better Hops: Mission Complete



So you may remember me taking the challenge of doing a 30 day vertical jump program in the article "30 Days To Better Hops: The Challenge" (read here) Well, I finished the challenge and I must say that not only am I dunking easier, I am able to get up off two feet now. Check it out here:

Now you might say why do this and my answer is simple, just because I can. I don't mean this in a cocky way at all, but I have been blessed with the ability to jump in my mid 40's and I want to take advantage of it as best I can. Most people my age are settling for shooting jump shots or not playing the game they love at all. Hopefully I can serve as an inspiration to some that age is just a number and if you take care of yourself by putting in the work, you can do what you want to. But I can hear some of you saying, how do I do that?

Well, I would love to tell you it is simple, but the truth is that there is no easy way to get there, but the rewards are amazing. When is comes to getting your hops back, it is all about the legs. Most people hate leg day which always baffles me, but what they fail to realize that in order to play sports at a high level, legs are the most important body part they need to work. So, whether you want to get those hops back that you once had or you just want to get some, I want to encourage you to get off the couch and get in the gym and get after your dream.
