It's All About Relationships!

Men make men better! The notion of the self made man is only a myth. Every successful man got there with the help of those who were willing to meet them where they are help them become all they were created to be. This is the cornerstone of the Collegiate Men's Initiative.

CMI is a response to something that is stirring among this generation of young men. In the last few years, there has been an increase in men seeking to find their identity and purpose.

The Situation:

According to Barna Research, among Gen Z men, commitment to Jesus jumped 15% points between 2019 and 2025. Millennial men saw a similar spike of 19% points. These young men are everywhere including our college campuses, so that is why it is vital that we are engaged with them where they are.

With the increasing numbers of men in this generation seeking and turning to the Lord, there’s a need to meet them right where they are and walk with them towards where God needs them to be.

There's not a greater time to be on our college campuses than now, but here's the dilemma...how do we meet them there?

The Mission:

Our mission is to help collegiate men to believe in, belong to, become like Jesus and help others do the same. We have three ways we meet men where they are:

Relational/Contextual Outreach

Life to Life mentoring/discipleship

Small Group mentoring/disciple making communities.

The Goal:

Our goal is to help collegiate men discover:

  • Who God Is.

  • Their Identity as a Man of God

  • What does it mean to live and lead with purpose, passion and power

  • How to lead yourself, family, church, community

  • What does it mean to be a disciple of Christ?

  • What does it mean to be a disciple maker?

  • How to make disciples in your context.

CMI and it's partner ministries desire to be a resource to help collegiate men reach their full potential one relationship at a time.
